5 Tips for Beginners

Instructions

  • Bite your teeth together.

  • Stretch your lips outward like a "duck."

  • Place a tongue depressor between your lips and close them.

  • Hold the tongue depressor (popsicle stick) with your lips closed.

  • Keep your lips and chin relaxed (watch to make sure your child isn’t scrunching or overusing their chin muscles)

  • Hold for 10 seconds, and increase the time as your child is ready.
