ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi, I’m Dina

I’ve been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years, with a clinical focus on infants, children, and adults with feeding, swallowing, airway, and orofacial myofunctional disorders. My early work in feeding and swallowing led me to take a deeper dive into how tongue ties and tethered oral tissues impact function across the lifespan.

In my private practice, I work closely with children and adults who present with tongue ties, airway concerns, and oral function challenges. Outside of the therapy room, I teach, mentor, and support SLPs and other professionals who want to confidently assess, prepare, and treat patients with oral ties.

Like many clinicians, I didn’t learn enough about tongue ties, functional assessment, or release readiness in graduate school. I saw firsthand how often tongue ties were missed, misunderstood, or treated in isolation—without proper preparation, aftercare, or interdisciplinary collaboration. That gap is what led me to build this course.

The Tongue Tie Course is the culmination of years of clinical experience, advanced training, mentoring other SLPs, and ongoing education. It’s designed to give you the clarity, confidence, and practical tools you need to support children and adults before and after tongue tie release—while understanding how oral ties fit into the bigger myofunctional picture.
